Marcel Cole

Marcel Cole is a multi-disciplinary artist from Canberra. He has trained extensively as a dancer in Canberra and at the New Zealand School of Dance in Wellington, NZ, and has studied theatre, mask and clown in Australia, London and Paris, most notably at the prestigious École Philippe Gaulier. He comes from a family of musical performers and music and performing have been part of life ever since he could walk.
Skilled in music, song, physical theatre and dance - Marcel is currently touring the national and international Fringe circuits with his solo shows The Ukulele Man and Smile: The Story of Charlie Chaplin and has won a number of awards along the way including 'Best Theatre' at Newcastle Fringe, 'Best Cabaret' Weekly Award at the Adelaide Fringe, a Canberra Critics Circle award and the San Diego and Hollywood Fringe 'Tour Ready Awards' at the Sydney Fringe, to name a few.
