You’ve booked a show. What happens next?

You will be sent a confirmation email confirming your date, details of the show and invoice for a deposit to secure your booking. This deposit secures your show date with us, reserves your performance slot and confirms your show at your school. The deposit is deductible from the final show fee which we send by email on the week of your performance with us. In the unlikely event that your school has to cancel a performance before the date, Blue Whale Theatre will do everything within their power to immediately rearrange with the contact, for an alternative performance date at your schools convenience. In the very unlikely event of a show being cancelled by your school and no alternative date arranged, the deposit can always be used towards a future booking with us. In the extremely unlikely event that Blue Whale Theatre have to cancel your show and no alternative show date is arranged, your school will be refunded the full amount paid including the deposit; this is the only siutation in which the deposit is refunded.

The week of your show you will receive a friendly phone call from our team to remind you of our visit and to go over what to expect once we arrive at your school/ venue. We can work with whatever space you have, big or small but we do ask that you give us as much information as possible about your perofrmance space at the time of booking, or in advance of your performance with us. If your Early years performance is to take place outdoors please let us know in advance so that we can provide adequate sound equipment for your show. Thank you for your cooperation.

We regret that we cannot perform 'A Bright Light in the Darkness' or 'Mary - A Story of Courage' at outdoor venues - these shows must be performed indoors in an enclosed environment. Please enquire with our team for more details.
